LENNON’S LIFE IN PICTURES

When Yoko Ono contacted Marigold Enterprises of New York to handle the publishing, licensing and marketing of John Lennon’s artwork, president Marilyn Goldberg had no idea that the singer had kept a “diary in art form” from age 7.

While going through Lennon’s archives in recent months, Goldberg came across what she calls “a beautiful chronological study” that includes depictions of his relationship with the Beatles and with Ono.

Limited edition prints (prices to be set) will go on sale at New York’s Art Expo next April, proceeds going to a planned Lennon Museum near Lincoln Center. Goldberg said each print will be sealed with Lennon’s personal Oriental signature mark.
