Meese’s View of Miranda Rule
The editorial on Meese’s criticism of the Miranda decision brought forth the usual response from law enforcement proponents and anti-Reagan opponents.
The reality, today, is that justice is a contest played in an ivory tower among clever lawyers and elitist intellectual judges.
It is not a question of right or wrong, guilt or innocence. It’s only a game--isn’t it?
