Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies and other law enforcement officers closed Whittier Boulevard in Pico Rivera early Sunday and made more than 60 arrests in a crackdown on street cruisers gathering at an all-night hamburger stand. Deputies from four stations, aided by Montebello police and California Highway Patrol officers, closed the boulevard for one mile between Interstate 605 and Rosemead Boulevard, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
