State attorney general’s investigators have found no evidence to support allegations that Folsom Prison employees used drugs or sold them to inmates, state Sen. Robert Presley (D-Riverside) said. The charges were made in Senate hearings in March confirming Gov. George Deukmejian’s appointment of Joe Campoy as warden of the maximum-security prison. Presley, who requested the investigation, said people making the allegations were unable to provide enough evidence to substantiate the charges and that accused employees denied the charges.
