Four-year-old Crystal Henning, one of the first children to appear on a milk carton as a missing child, was reunited with her mother in Los Angeles County, authorities said. The Torrance girl and Christopher Crooks, 5, were found living in the Kern County community of Buttonwillow with Fred Henning, the girl’s father, and Sandra Crooks, the boy’s mother. The couple, both 31, were arrested on warrants for the alleged abduction of the children. Detectives said Henning was wanted in Los Angeles County for violating a court child custody order. The warrant for Sandra Crook’s arrest was issued in Riverside County for alleged violations of a court order involving child custody. Authorities said the Los Angeles district attorney’s office received about 50 telephone calls from people who believed they saw Crystal. Her picture had been placed on millions of grocery bags and milk cartons, as well as billboards and trucks.
