Romeo Vies for LBPT Title
Sepulveda’s Robin Romeo, tied for second on the points list with Patty Costello at 6,000, will be among the contestants in the opening round of a $30,000 Ladies Pro Bowler’s Tour tournament that begins Saturday in Tacoma, Wash.
Romeo will be joined by Lorrie Nichols, a leading contender for the “Woman Bowler of the Year” title, in the quest for the top prize of $5,000 in the six-day Hammer Western Open tournament at the Narrow Plaza Bowling Center.
Nichols leads the tour in points with 6,230. Aleta Still, the tour’s top money winner with $37,755, also will compete.
The tour ends Nov. 10-16 with the $100,000 Sam’s Town-LPBT Tournament of Champions at Las Vegas.
