Dale Kennedy has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president of the North County real estate development company in Vista, Calif. He will be responsible for all aspects of corporate operations and marketing, including land procurement, government processing, and marketing programs

John M. Martin, former president and chief executive officer of the Meister Development Group, has formed his own residential housing company, J. M. Martin Development, headquartered in Newport Beach.

Sidney Lenz has been named executive vice president of Countrywide Funding Corp., Pasadena, the major subsidiary of Countrywide Credit Industries.

Don Tannahill has been promoted to president of Landmark Real Estate Co. of Palm Desert. He will have responsibility for residential, commercial and industrial sales and leasing.

Wes Pawl has been promoted to assistant vice president of First Interstate Mortgage Co., San Diego, a subsidiary of First Interstate Bancorp. Also promoted to assistant vice president was Douglas Hester, formerly a mortgage loan officer.

Rex A. Davison has been named vice president of Victoria Management Inc., Carson, an asset management and real estate development firm.

Susan Clark has been appointed director of design for the Segerstrom Design Group, Los Angeles.

Valencia Co., Valencia, has named Tom Dierckman senior vice president of commercial and industrial real estate operations and Bill Rattazzi senior vice president of residential real estate development.

Pravin Bakrania has been named vice president of Richardson Nagy Martin, an architecture and planning firm with offices in Newport Beach and Dallas. He will be in charge of large-scale master plans, high-density developments and residential community design. Gary Emsiek has also been appointed to vice president of RNM and will take an active role in direct client and project management activities.

Don Costello has been named vice president of C. E. Wylie Construction Co., San Diego. Costello, who has been with Wylie since 1982, spent 10 years in the Navy as a civil engineer. His new duties will include overseeing the operation of the commercial development department.

Patrick Peck has been named vice president of secondary marketing for the western region of Deseret Pacific Mortgage, Encino.

Tery J. P. Finigan has joined the Koll Co., as vice president and regional asset manager for the Newport Beach division. He will direct all asset management functions, including tenant relations for Koll Center Irvine and Koll Center Newport.

Jeffrey A. Goddard has been promoted to vice president in the real estate loan center of Union Bank’s South Orange County Regional Office, located in Irvine.

Wimmer Yamada & Associates has added James C. Brunson and Jeffrey T. Rule, landscape architects, to the staff. The company is based in San Diego.

G. Timothy Galvin, vice president of Reid Advertising & Public Relations, has been honored with the Life Spike award of the National Association of Home Builders and the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California.
