The U.S. won’t prosecute GE over billing claims.

Federal authorities said they found no basis for a prosecution of General Electric over allegations that employees at GE’s jet engine plant in Evendale, Ohio, cheated on time cards submitted for work on government contracts. “There will be no prosecution of the corporation or of any individuals,” said Ann Marie Tracey, an assistant U.S. attorney. “There was insufficient evidence.”
