The Department of Energy says it has revoked permits for three scheduled anti-nuclear demonstrations at the Nevada Test Site because protesters have “failed to live by the rules” of their agreement with the government.

The revocation means demonstrators will not be able to protest at a designated area dubbed “Camp Desert Rock” where two previous demonstrations were held, DOE spokesman Dave Miller said.

“The permit is void because of their repeated trespasses at the site,” Miller said. “They clearly failed to live by the rules of the agreement.”

Jesse Cocks-Browning, an organizer of the monthlong American Peace Test protest, said Monday’s scheduled demonstration and two others set for later in the month will be moved to Bureau of Land Management property adjacent to the test site.
