The Region : PCP Seized; 4 Arrested

Police arrested four people and seized $300,000 worth of the drug PCP at a Compton duplex in the 1500 block of Ward Street where the drug was reportedly manufactured in a backyard laboratory. The lab was discovered when two officers smelled a strong chemical odor often associated with production of the hallucinogenic drug. They eventually confiscated 18 to 20 gallons of the drug and arrested Arthur E. Lindsey, 30, and his wife, Regina, 28, both of Compton; Michael K. Williams, 30, of Bellflower and Sharon A. Ward, 29, of Pomona. The four are being held on a variety of drug charges including the manufacture and possession of drugs.
