Ultrasystems Gets $8.6 Million in Contracts

Ultrasystems Inc. said Monday it has received five new contracts and extensions of two existing contracts, worth a total of $8.6 million, for engineering, procurement and construction services on seven energy-related projects.

As part of the contracts, Irvine-based Ultrasystems will design and procure equipment for a new gas compression station to be built for San Diego Gas & Electric Co., provide construction repairs for two of Southern California Edison Co.’s power plants in Huntington Beach and procure equipment for a new 6,000 kilowatt cogeneration power plant to be built for a hospital in Santa Barbara.
