Powertec, a Chatsworth-based maker of power-switching equipment used mostly in computers, said it completed its acquisition of Semiconductor Circuits of Windham, N.H.

Powertec said the terms are $4.5-million cash and stock payments that hinge on Semiconductor Circuits’ performance over the next three years.

Semiconductor Circuits, which makes electrical converters used in communications, robot and computer equipment, will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Powertec. The company has 150 workers at two plants in New Hampshire. Powertec has 300 employees in Chatsworth.
