The wife of imprisoned dissident Anatoly Shcharansky stood before a sign reading “Human Rights Lead to Arms Control--Free Soviet Jewry” and vowed Sunday to press a Soviet emigration campaign during the superpower summit.

Avital Shcharansky, arriving 48 hours before the summit between Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev and President Reagan, said she met briefly with U.S. national security adviser Robert C. McFarlane in a hotel but hoped to arrange a formal session.
