Redondo Beach : Donation Has Bite to It
The North Redondo Beach Rotary Club gave a check for $2,900 to the Police Department Tuesday night to help pay for a fourth dog for the department’s canine program.
Rotarian Mike Bradford presented the check during a City Council meeting to Police Capt. Roger Bass, who was accompanied by Officer Michael Higashi and one of the department’s three dogs, Axel.
“Certain factions of our community will feel the bite of this money,” Bass assured Bradford and the City Council.
