A fund has been established for Ryan Williams, the 7-year-old son of slain Los Angeles Police Detective Thomas C. Williams.
The American Youth Soccer Organization’s Region 71 board decided to create the fund, called An Investment in Ryan’s Future, at a meeting Wednesday night. The boy plays on a Canoga Park soccer team.
Ryan was witness to the Oct. 31 ambush attack on a Canoga Park street that killed his father. Four suspects are in custody.
Areas will be set up at the group’s Dec. 7 soccer games for teams to contribute.
Donations can be made to: Ryan Williams Fund, AYSO, Region 71, Treasurer, 4735 Vista de Oro Ave., Woodland Hills 91364.
