Share

Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D. C., Boston and San Francisco are the cities with the best real estate investment potential for the coming year, and Dallas is on the least bullish side along with Houston and Denver.

These were findings in a report released by Equitable Real Estate Group, sponsor of Real Estate Research Corp.’s annual forecast, “Emerging Trends in Real Estate: 1986.”

Criteria used for determining the best and worst cities include vacancy rate, competitiveness in the market, economic diversification, strength of the local economy and the business and regulatory climate. The forecast was based on interviews with 85 of the nation’s leading real estate investors, lenders and developers.
