Fasting Day Announced Well After Sunday Dinner

WASHINGTON —
A day after the event, the White House issued a proclamation under President Reagan’s signature designating Sunday, Nov. 24, National Day of Fasting to Raise Funds to Combat Hunger. A White House statement on Monday said that Reagan signed the proclamation on Saturday.
