Dodger Management Has Its Rights, Too

The Dodger owners are within their rights to put drug testing in their contracts. In fact, all owners of professional teams should follow the procedure of the Pittsburgh Steeler organization which is to have the player examined by a physician and, if so advised, without public fanfare, release the player.

As Dan Rooney stated, “We are in the business of football, not drug rehabilitation.”
