GM Recalling 150,000 1983s With V8 Engines

General Motors Corp. said Wednesday it is recalling about 150,000 of its 1983-model cars equipped with V8 engines to replace faulty catalytic converters.

The cars affected under the recall, requested by the Environmental Protection Agency, are Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and Cutlass Cruiser wagons, Delta 88 and Custom Cruiser wagons, and the 98 models, as well as the Buick Riviera, Electra and Estate wagon, and Le Sabre.
