Alhambra : Calderon on Soviet Tour
Assemblyman Charles M. Calderon (D-Alhambra) is among 14 political leaders from across the country who are on a 17-day tour of the Soviet Union sponsored by the American Council of Young Political Leaders. The delegation, which will return home Tuesday, was scheduled to visit Leningrad, Minsk, Tblisi, Datumi and Moscow. The trip is part of an exchange program intended to acquaint young political leaders from each country with the other’s government system.
