Clinic Plan OKd: City planning commissioners have unanimously approved an architectural plan for a two-story, outpatient surgical clinic. The clinic, the first of its kind in Fullerton, calls for remodeling a supermarket at 1835 Sunny Crest Drive into a 26,000-square-foot medical facility that will include outpatient care, minor emergency treatment, a medical retail store and physical therapy. The project is a joint venture by St. Jude Hospital and about 80 north Orange County physicians. Construction on the $2-million project will begin soon after the supermarket closes on Jan. 15.
