‘Vulgar T-Shirt’ Probably Inspired by the Sex Pistols

I applaud Bill Ryan’s concern, but I believe it was unfounded. Ryan must not have heard the song, “Belsen Was a Gas,” sung by the Sex Pistols, which roundly rejects and assaults Nazism and Nazi tactics.

I believe this jogger knew all about Belsen and was seeking to alert the people around him to the neo-Nazi sentiments seen in America in the Ku Klux Klan and the New Right. Only by vigilance can we assure “never again.”
