The Los Angeles federal court trial for former West Hollywood Mayor Valerie Terrigno, accused of embezzling nearly $11,000 while she directed a now-defunct counseling program, has been continued for two months. Defense attorney Howard Weitzman asked U.S. District Judge Laughlin E. Waters for the delay from Jan. 7 until March 11, 1986, citing other cases he is involved in. Assistant U.S. Atty. Richard M. Callahan did not oppose the delay, saying he, too, had other pending cases. Terrigno, 32, still a member of the West Hollywood City Council, was indicted Oct. 23.
