A last-minute Christmas shopper robbed a Huntington Beach linen store, escaping with $300 worth of merchandise and $200 in cash, police reported. A man entered Stroud’s Linen Warehouse, at 16672 Beach Blvd., about 5 p.m. and picked out an armload of bed sheets and linen, according to Sgt. Jerry Evans. As the clerk was ringing up the order, the man pulled a small handgun and demanded cash from the register. The clerk obliged and the man fled, carrying the merchandise. No one in the store was injured. Police describe the man as black, about 30 years old, wearing a multicolored shirt and dress trousers, driving a white and gold sedan.
