Wilshire--Fairfax : Housing Offered to Seniors

Alternative Living for the Aging has spaces available for senior citizens at its co-op house in the Beverly-Fairfax area.

The house offers individual bedrooms and bathrooms and shared kitchens, living and dining areas, along with laundry facilities and front and back yards. Fees range from $385 to $435 a month, including five dinners a week.

According to a statement from the organization, “Nine older people, ages 66-89, are living harmoniously together, combining privacy with a desire for group living, sharing their strengths and skills, so that they can continue living with dignity and independence.”
