One of two reactors at the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant has been shut down to repair a leak in a cooling system, utility officials said. The Unit 2 reactor, which was being tested before beginning full operation, had sprung two leaks in two weeks in the system that brings cool seawater in to condense steam in another cooling system, said Ron Rutkowski, a spokesman for Pacific Gas & Electric Co. The Unit 1 reactor at the plant on the coast near San Luis Obispo continued to operate at 100% power, said Rutkowski.
