Senior forward Richard Rellford scored 21 points to lead No. 2-ranked Michigan to a 105-85 victory over Cleveland State Sunday.

Michigan (12-0) held only a 47-45 halftime lead, but used its superior size in the second half to set a school record for most wins at the start of the season. The old mark was set during the 1918-1919 season.

Rellford led a balanced attack that saw five other Wolverines join him in double figures.

Sophomore guard Gary Grant scored 19 points, freshman forward Glen Rice chipped in 16 points, senior center Roy Tarpley and senior foward Robert Henderson scored 15 points each and junior guard Antoine Joubert added 11 points.
