Westwood : UCLA Receives Federal Grant
UCLA has received a $5-million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to develop more effective, efficient and fair methods of student testing.
The grant establishes a new Center for Student Testing, Evaluation and Standards, a collaborative effort involving UCLA, the University of Colorado, the University of Illinois, the University of Chicago and the Educational Testing Service. The Los Angeles city schools also will participate.
