New City Bank in Orange will open a branch office--its first--in Anaheim by the end of January, according to Wallace D. Linn, president of the 2-year-old bank. The new, full-service branch will take over the space now used by the bank’s holding company, New City Bancorp, in the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce building on Anaheim Boulevard south of Lincoln Avenue. The bank has assets of $38 million.
