Kennedy in Brazil
BRASILIA, Brazil — Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) arrived in Brazil today to begin a tour of Latin America’s new democracies. It is the first major foreign trip for Kennedy since he withdrew as a possible presidential candidate for 1988.
