Free reconstructive surgery will be performed on 12 needy people through a public service program scheduled to begin in February at the Center for Special Surgery at Beverly Hills Medical Center, 1177 S. Beverly Drive.
A spokesman said patients will include crime victims and people suffering from birth defects, burns and accidents. They will be selected from foundations, juvenile halls, victim support groups and senior citizen organizations.
