Jack Carlson resigned as chief economist and executive vice president of the 700,000-member National Assn. of Realtors, the nation’s largest trade association.
Bill North, the association’s general counsel, will take over leadership of the group until a search committee comes up with a new executive vice president.
Carlson gave no indication of his future employment plans. He came to the group seven years ago after service with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
