The Chicago Bears’ William (the Refrigerator) Perry, a 308-pound defensive tackle, heads the UPI’s National Football League all-rookie team.
Also named to the team was Ram quarterback Dieter Brock, an 11-year veteran of the Canadian Football League. He was the team’s oldest player at 34.
