Research Facility Purchased in Tustin

A 120,300-square-foot research and development facility in Tustin was purchased for $8.5 million by Sorbus Corp. of Irvine, the computer maintenance subsidiary of Bell Atlantic. PacTel Properties, Irvine, negotiated for the buyer.
The two-story complex on a six-acre parcel of land at 1382 Bell Ave., was offered for sale by Grubb & Ellis of Newport Beach.
