Clippers End Trip Tonight Against Bullets

LANDOVER, Md. — Clippers will end their longest trip of the season--7 games in 12 days--tonight at 4:35 PST against the Washington Bullets at the Capital Centre.
Marques Johnson, who missed the final three quarters of Saturday night’s loss in Chicago with a sore left knee, is expected to start for the Clippers, who are 1-5 on the trip.
This will be Washington’s first game back after a five-game Western trip that ended Saturday with a one-point loss in Houston. The Bullets Friday traded forward Kenny Green, their first-round draft choice, to Philadelphia for guard Leon Wood.
Wood, the former St. Monica High and Cal State Fullerton star, scored 17 points in 23 minutes against the Rockets.
