The Death of Rick Nelson

All of us who knew Rick Nelson will remember him as a gentleman who handled life’s ups and downs with equal grace. He sang his hits night after night with the same enthusiasm, and never shortchanged his audience.
I grew up with the “Television Nelson Family,” and always admired Rick’s manner and style. As a parent, I pray that my children find role models as kind and as sensitive as Rick (and David, of course), and that I can be half as proud of their achievements as Mrs. Nelson must be of his.
