One of the two bodyguards for rock star Prince who were arrested last year after allegedly attacking two photographers outside a West Hollywood restaurant has pleaded no contest to a charge of misdemeanor battery. Wallace Safford could be sentenced to six months in jail or a $500 fine if convicted when his case is heard by a Santa Monica municipal judge March 7. Lawrence Gibson, the second bodyguard who was allegedly involved in the scuffle with the photographers, who were trying to take pictures of Prince, did not appear in court and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
