Martin Shafer, formerly president of production at Embassy Pictures, has been named executive vice president of production at 20th Century Fox Film Corp.
The 31-year-old Shafer will be on an equal footing with Laurence Mark and Scott Rudin, Fox production executive vice presidents, the company said.
