Man Shoots Attorney at Hearing on Divorce

AURORA, Colo. — A police officer opened fire in a courtroom Tuesday during a hearing on his divorce, hitting his wife’s lawyer twice, officials said.
Arapahoe County Sheriff Pat Sullivan said the officer, whose name was not released, was arrested after being disarmed by a deputy. The attorney, Jeanne Elliott, 37, was in serious but stable condition at Presbyterian Aurora Hospital.
