Readicare Posts Profit of $10,000 for Quarter

ReadiCare Inc. said it posted net earnings of $10,000 during the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, the company’s first profit in a year. The Newport Beach-based operator of outpatient medical clinics reported a loss of $154,000 for the third quarter last year. Third quarter revenues increased 18% to $7.6 million from $6.4 million.

For the nine-month period ended Nov. 30, ReadiCare lost $336,000, compared with a loss of $151,000 a year earlier. Nine-month revenues were $22.4 million, up 15% from $19.5 million.

ReadiCare operates a network of 24 outpatient medical centers in California.
