Two San Diego juveniles have been arrested on suspicion of homicide in connection with a shooting last weekend at a Kearny Mesa restaurant that left one man dead and five people wounded, San Diego police announced Wednesday.

Shortly after midnight on Sunday morning, 20-year-old Danny Le was approached by two male juveniles while he was talking with friends at the Imperial Palace restaurant, 4805 Convoy St. One of the two juveniles was armed with a semi-automatic rifle hidden under a long coat, and as he raised the weapon, Le disarmed him. Both youths then fled into a large crowd of patrons.

Later, as Le was leaving the restaurant with the weapon, he was struck on the head with an unknown object, and the juvenile who originally had the rifle reappeared and attempted to take the weapon away from Le, police said.
