Horford Won’t Join UCLA Team

Share

UCLA Athletic Director Peter T. Dalis announced today that controversial center Tito Horford is not going to attend the Pacific-10 Conference school.

“We wish to thank Mr. Horford for his interest in the basketball program here at UCLA, but despite rumors to the contrary, he will not be enrolling here,” Dalis said. Horford was declared ineligible last year because the NCAA found recruiting violations at Houston. He was later dismissed from the Louisiana State team for missing practice. And earlier this week Kentucky Coach Eddie Sutton announced that he didn’t want him playing for the Wildcats.
