I like Dennis Hunt.

I like the Faces interviews he does with musicians like Sade, Alison Moyet, Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet and others who have been given thumbs down by critics such as Robert Hilburn and Richard Cromelin for being “boring.”

I like Tops in Pops, which only he can put together so well.

I like his list of the year’s Top 10 albums. He was the only critic to include Alison Moyet’s “Alf,” an album virtually overlooked by everyone in the United States.

I like his taste in music.

I like the way he looks (Calendar Letters, Jan. 12).
