Knell, Furrow to Receive Home Centers Honors
Max D. Knell, chairman of Ole’s Home Centers, Pasadena, and Vernon W. Furrow, retired chairman and a founder of Payless Cashways, Kansas City, Mo., have been named 1986 recipients of the Home Center Leadership Council’s Pioneer Award.
Knell and Furrow will join those men and women honored as early leaders of the home-center industry and will have their portraits displayed in the Home Center Hall of Fame at the annual National Home Center Show.
