William A. MacGillivray, vice president and treasurer of Hughes Aircraft, has been elected chairman of the Economic Development Corp. of Los Angeles County, a group composed of business leaders from the Southland responsible for creating and implementing economic development programs.
Newly elected board members include Jonel Hill, president of Southern California Gas; James P. Miscoll, executive vice president, Bank of America; Patricia Nettleship, chief executive of North Pacific Construction Management, and Takashi Sakai, president of Pacific Merchant Bank.
