U.S. Magistrate Venetta S. Tassopulos of Los Angeles has been appointed to the court administration committee of the U.S. Judicial Conference, which oversees all operations and ethical policies governing federal courts in this country. Tassopulos, 58, who was appointed by Chief Justice Warren E. Burger, becomes one of the few magistrates to sit on the conference. Most of its members are federal judges.
