A Rosemead woman heard cries and stepped outside to find a newborn baby on her front porch. Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said the boy discovered by Amar Hannosk in the 4400 block of Earle Street appeared to be no more than a day old. He was wrapped in a blanket and apparently was healthy and unhurt. The infant was taken to Garfield Hospital in Monterey Park.
