A firm won FDA approval to sell a pregnancy test.
Monoclonal Antibodies, a Mountain View, Calif.-based biotechnology firm, said its product allows pregnancy diagnosis within 10 days of conception and will provide results within five minutes. Analysts say it will be a primary competitor for Icon, a similar pregnancy test being marketed to doctors’ offices by Hybritech of San Diego.
