Wilson Back Next Week
Trevor Wilson, Cleveland High’s two-time All-City forward, said Wednesday that he will be ready to play again next week.
Wilson, a 6-8 senior, has missed the past four games with an ankle injury suffered Dec. 30 in a nonleague game against Fairfax. Wilson was expected to miss at least six weeks with bone chips and a strained ligament in his left ankle.
But Wilson’s cast was removed Saturday and he practiced with the team Monday. When the Cavaliers warmed up Wednesday for its game against Kennedy, Wilson was in uniform.
