Irvine Co. Announces New Land Sales Agency

Irvine Co. President Thomas H. Nielsen said he has created a new operating division called the Irvine Land Management Co. to oversee residential land sales to builders. It will also lease and sell Irvine Co. land for a variety of community facilities such as churches, child care centers and riding stables. Chick C. Willette is being promoted to head the new company from his former position as vice president of marketing, sales and business operations with the Irvine Community Development Co., another operating division. Willette initially will work with a 45-member staff reassigned to him from the Irvine Community Development Co., which will continue to provide the groundwork for residential development.
